1. Information We May Collect
We may receive your name, phone number, email, message, order or enquiry details, and information you voluntarily provide through calls, email or website forms. Technical information such as browser type, device information and basic usage data may also be processed if analytics or security tools are enabled.
2. How We Use Information
Information may be used to respond to enquiries, provide order or delivery assistance, operate the website, improve services, prevent misuse, maintain records and comply with legal obligations.
3. Customer & Delivery Information
For delivery enquiries, we may request an address or location needed to determine serviceability. Free delivery is offered up to 5 KM subject to outlet serviceability, order conditions and availability.
4. Franchise Applicant Privacy
Franchise applicants may provide additional information such as identity and address documents, PAN, business/entity details, proposed outlet location, lease or ownership information, financial capability documents, bank/payment information and other due-diligence material. We use such information only for franchise evaluation, verification, communication, site assessment, agreement preparation, onboarding and relationship management.
Franchise documents should not be sent unless requested through an authorised Al Baik Cafe channel. Access should be limited to authorised personnel and professional advisers or service providers who need the information for legitimate franchise-related work.
5. Separate Privacy Rules for Franchise Applicants & Franchisees
Franchise-related information is handled separately from ordinary customer enquiries because franchise evaluation may require additional due-diligence records. Depending on the stage of an application, we may request KYC documents, PAN, photographs, contact details, business constitution documents, proposed outlet address, site photographs, ownership/lease documents, landlord NOC where applicable, bank/payment proof, financial capability information, GST/FSSAI or other business registrations where applicable, and documents reasonably required for onboarding or compliance.
Franchise information may be used for eligibility screening, identity verification, location and territory assessment, commercial discussions, agreement preparation, fee/payment administration, training, outlet opening, audits, compliance, renewal, transfer, dispute management and termination/de-branding processes.
Providing a franchise enquiry does not require an applicant to send passwords, OTPs, card PINs or unrelated sensitive financial credentials. Applicants should send documents only through an authorised Al Baik Cafe channel after they are requested. We may share relevant franchise records with authorised personnel, legal/accounting advisers, verification providers, technology/payment service providers or authorities where reasonably required for the franchise process or by law.
If an application is not approved, records may still be retained for a reasonable period for fraud prevention, audit, legal, dispute or recordkeeping purposes, after which they may be deleted or anonymised where appropriate. Approved franchisees may have records retained throughout the relationship and for a reasonable period after expiry or termination. Franchisees are independently responsible for protecting customer and employee data they collect at their own outlets and for complying with applicable privacy/data-protection obligations.
Franchise applicants and franchisees can raise privacy or document-handling questions at support@albaikcafe.com. The detailed commercial and operational framework is available in our Franchise Policy and the signed franchise agreement will prevail where applicable.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers, professional advisers, payment or technology providers, government authorities or other parties when reasonably necessary to provide a service, protect rights, comply with law or evaluate a franchise application.
7. Retention & Security
We aim to retain information only as long as reasonably required for the purpose collected, recordkeeping, dispute management or legal compliance. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards may be used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Cookies & Third-Party Services
The website may use essential cookies or third-party services such as analytics, maps, social platforms or external links. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
9. Your Requests
You may contact us to ask about personal information you submitted, request correction, or raise a privacy concern, subject to applicable law and legitimate record-retention requirements.
10. Franchise-Specific Terms
Franchise enquiries are also subject to our Franchise Policy. A franchise enquiry is not an offer, approval or contractual commitment.
