1. Franchise Model
Al Baik Cafe intends to expand primarily through a Franchise Owned, Franchise Operated (FOFO) model. The franchisee funds and operates the outlet while following approved brand, menu, quality, hygiene and operating standards.
2. Application & Eligibility
Applicants may be asked for identity and address proof, PAN, entity documents where applicable, bank/payment proof, proposed location details, ownership or lease documents, landlord NOC where required, photographs, financial capability information and existing business details. Al Baik Cafe may accept or reject an application after evaluation.
3. Indicative Commercial Structure
The current planning framework may include a one-time franchise fee of ₹2,50,000 plus applicable taxes, a refundable security deposit of ₹50,000, a five-year term, 5% royalty on defined monthly gross sales plus applicable taxes, and an indicative renewal fee of ₹50,000 plus applicable taxes. These figures are indicative until stated in a signed offer/agreement and may change for future applicants.
4. Outlet & Territory Approval
No applicant may represent a location as an Al Baik Cafe outlet before written approval. Site size, visibility, kitchen suitability, local competition, delivery area and territory considerations may be reviewed before approval.
5. Licences & Compliance
The franchisee is responsible for maintaining all licences and registrations applicable to its outlet, including food-safety, local trade, tax, labour, fire or other approvals as applicable. Franchisees must follow applicable laws and food-safety requirements at all times.
6. Brand & Intellectual Property
Names, logos, mascots, artwork, recipes, manuals, packaging, store designs, marketing material and other brand assets may be used only as authorised. Franchisees must not register confusingly similar names, domains, social handles, marks or designs.
7. Menu, Recipes & Suppliers
Franchisees must follow approved recipes, portions, preparation processes and menu standards. Where approved suppliers or specifications are prescribed, substitutes should not be used without written approval.
8. Quality, Hygiene & Audits
Al Baik Cafe may conduct announced or reasonable quality reviews. Serious food-safety, hygiene, misrepresentation or repeated quality failures may require corrective action and may lead to suspension or termination under the franchise agreement.
9. Sales Reporting & Royalty
Franchisees must maintain accurate sales records and provide reports required under the agreement. Gross Sales, exclusions, refunds, taxes, aggregator sales and payment dates will be defined in the signed agreement.
10. Marketing & Digital Presence
Local advertising must follow brand guidelines. Franchisees may not publish misleading offers or create unauthorised websites, domains, social profiles or advertising that appears to be the brand's official national account.
11. Training & Confidentiality
Training, recipes, manuals, costing methods and operating know-how provided for franchise operations may be confidential. Such information must not be disclosed or used for competing or unauthorised businesses where restricted by contract and law.
12. Renewal
Renewal is not automatic. It may depend on timely payments, licence validity, quality performance, brand compliance, outlet audit, absence of material breach and execution of the then-applicable renewal agreement. Renewal should normally be initiated before expiry as specified in the signed agreement.
13. Transfer, Exit & Termination
A franchise should not be sold, assigned or transferred without required written approval. On termination or expiry, the franchisee must stop using Al Baik Cafe branding and complete de-branding, return confidential materials and settle outstanding obligations as required by the agreement.
14. Franchise Applicant Privacy
Franchise enquiry information may be used to assess eligibility, contact applicants, evaluate locations, conduct due diligence, prepare agreements and manage the franchise relationship. Sensitive documents should be collected only when necessary and shared only with authorised staff, professional advisers or service providers where required.
15. No Earnings Guarantee
Any illustrations of investment, sales, margins, payback or profitability are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed in a signed document. Actual performance depends on location, rent, demand, costs, management, competition and other factors.
